Women's Empowerment Self - Defense (ESD) Teacher Training

is a unique week-long intensive program for female-identified self-defense instructors, both aspiring and experienced, who want to develop their skills to deliver ESD training in their communities. Participants who complete the training are qualified to provide a 10-hour ESD course to adults, as well as shorter formats. Following the training, you will receive 2 years of additional mentorship support. Your mentor will help you learn how to create class plans, support diverse participants in your classes, trauma informed practices and much more.

This program includes:

  • 7 days of hands-on training for 15 participants led by expert ESD instructors

  • Two years of mentoring, education, and support from ESD Global so that new ESD instructors can thrive
